Yolanda Quevedo

My name is Yolanda, and I’m passionate about bringing the joy of music to students. Born in Cuba, I discovered my love for music at age 8, which led me to pursue extensive formal training. I hold a degree as an Instrumentalist and Teacher from the National School of Arts in Cuba, following 11 years of music studies, and a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Arts in Havana, under the tutelage of professor Danae Ulacia. Additionally, I earned a postgraduate diploma in Organistic Music Heritage from University College “San Geronimo of Havana,” where I studied under renowned professors Dr. Stefan Baier, Dr. Gregor Pozniak, and Lic. Moises Santiesteban.

Recently, I completed my Kindermusik International Level 2 certification, which has further enriched my approach to early childhood music education. I believe in creating a fun, engaging, and supportive environment where students can explore their musical potential. By incorporating a wide variety of musical styles, instruments, and movement activities, I aim to help each student discover their unique musical interests and foster a lifelong love of music
