Our band program consists of students playing various instruments in an ensemble setting

Students of all ages are taught the fundamentals of drumming, how to play basic to advanced drumbeats, how to play along to songs, learning by ear and by reading, and more.

The Hamilton School of Music currently offers lessons in plectrum (or pick-style) and finger-style guitar.

Having fun is just the beginning! Our award-winning curricula and world-class educators provide engaging musical learning experiences during the years most critical to brain development.

This level prepares a child who is eager for first experiences with musical symbols and instrument discovery but is not yet ready for formal lessons and traditional music reading with an instrument.

Instruction in flute, trumpet, trombone, clarinet, saxophone, bassoon and double bass is also available at the Hamilton School of Music.

Piano instruction is available to students ranging from four years of age through to adulthood.

Students of violin can begin their instruction as early as six years of age and as late as adulthood.

Our voice program teaches students proper breathing techniques, pitch control, development of tone and range, and artistic expression.
